RGE Catch the Wind Sweepstakes Official Rules

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

ENTRY. There are two ways to enter the Sweepstakes: 1) by upgrading your RG&E Catch the Wind energy service by returning the postage-paid enrollment form on or prior to April 30, 2008, or 2) by calling 1.866.WIND.123 on or prior to April 30, 2008. RG&E ("RG&E" or "Sponsor") and its agencies are not responsible for destroyed, delayed, lost, late, incomplete, damaged, stolen, misdirected, illegible entries.

Limit one (1) entry per RG&E customer. Sponsor is not responsible for miscommunications, failed telephone operations, unauthorized human intervention, garbled or jumbled transmissions or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical or electronic, including without limitation, the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information. Once submitted, entries become the exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Personally identifiable information received will be used only to verify eligibility and award prizes.

PRIZE/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (ARV)/ODDS OF WINNING. Prize - One (1): Trip for winner and one guest to the Brewster Inn Bed & Breakfast in Cazenovia, NY. Prize includes 2 days/2 nights accommodations at a local bed and breakfast and dinner for two at such local bed and breakfast (winner and guest are responsible for transportation to and from Cazenovia). If winner cannot accept the prize due to schedule conflict or any other reason, prize will be forfeited in its entirety and Sponsor reserves the right to select an alternate winner. All unspecified meals and expenses are the sole responsibility of the winner. ARV: $500. Odds of winning a prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Taxes on prize are solely the responsibility of the winner. No cash redemption. Prize is non-transferable and cannot be assigned; Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if selected prize, or any portion thereof, becomes unavailable for any reason. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded.

DRAWING. Winner will be selected in a random drawing and notified on or about May 15, 2008.  Participating entrants agree to abide by and be bound by the Sweepstakes Official Rules.

ELIGIBILITY. The Sweepstakes is open to legal U.S. residents only, 18 years of age or older, who are RG&E customers. Employees or agents of Sponsor, its affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies, and the employees, officers, directors, and agents of any of the above organizations, and the members of the immediate family or those living in the same households (whether related or not) of such individuals are not eligible.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION. By participating, entrants release Sponsor, its respective parent company, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising/promotional agencies, and the employees, officers, directors and agents of any of the above organizations from any and all liability for any injuries, losses or damages to person (including death and property damages) of any kind, caused in whole or in part, directly or indirectly by participation in the sweepstakes, or the acceptance, possession or use/misuse of the prize or participation in any prize-related activities. Where legal, by accepting prize, winner agrees to the use of his/her name, address, likeness, photograph and/or voice and statements by winner (provided they are true) for advertising/publicity purposes without notice or further compensation. By entering, entrants agree that this Sweepstakes is governed by laws of the New York, without regard to conflicts of laws or principles, and all entrants hereby submit to the jurisdiction and venue of Rochester, NY for the resolution of all claims and disputes. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, suspend or modify the Sweepstakes should fraud, virus, bugs or other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the Sweepstakes.
